Trident 4609

#645
Well as i said before in an earlier post i think that when the new E400 enter service at PB B7TL ALX400 or Wright Eclipse Gemini to WB to replace older mercs.

As stated i think Tridents from BC-YW with Presidents cascaded to Dundee (The ones that have already gone), Maybe PE and possibly WB to replace Mercs.

Just Speculation and my opinions so please don't shoot me down for it.

Does anyone agree or any other ideas on what will happen.

Can't wait to see what happens.

Nothing new parking in the garage at just after 11am this morning,

1645 still hasn't moved and 554 doesn't appear to have moved much of late either

Just missed you agaiN Winston, was there at 1045.

no, nothing new around. They are obviously having mega problems with 1645 lately, don't know why they don't withdraw it, especially when we know, more buses are imminent?

One day I might bump in to you....

If 1645 is pretty terminal, it might well be on the withdrawal list, seen as though it needs a repaint as well

no change at 2pm, 2086 came in from driver training and that's pretty much all I saw

Well 1645 seems to have spent more time parked on the front row at PE with the red sticker in its window lately, i can see why they might want to keep trying with the B6s but there are so many Mercs around, if 1645 can't be easily fixed, then get rid and bring back a Merc that was just withdrawn for the sake of it.

Strange thing is that every time i visit PE, the Mercs that are out of service seem to be in the higher numbers which tells me that the earlier Mercs are more reliable and should be kept.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Its all well and good saying replace "battered" WB Mercs with Presidents but what about PE's "battered" mercs on routes which do need more capacity such as the 246 276 and X96 hence why I still think sending the rest of the toothpaste enviros from PB to PE is still a good idea, PB have spent a great deal breathing new life into their fleet the past 12 months, I doubt they'd want to transfer those vehicles out any time soon. Although bringing the odd Trident back to daytime 9's and 141's wouldnt be such a bad idea either if they come from BC

we already know from earlier that there is a change, I don't see the big secrecy behind a few changes at a bus garage!
