Oh ok sorry for that. I would of thought Walsall or even Pensnett aswell would be a better place to do it.

Must be a certain reason why they are putting new flooring in at Bordesley.

1645 is back in service, on the 276 today.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Been stuck on garage for over a week, presume it needed parts.

Have to say when it passed me today, must be one of the quietest Mercs around, you could hardly hear the engine.

One of the best sounding mercs is 1556 sounds superb alot of whining but typical and seems in good shape.

What is it with the PN Trident-Enviros picking up the "Trident whistle" lately? First 4826, then 4811, then 4802, now 4813 and 4806 are doing it!

Lukeee

Some of PB stripey enviros have it also

508 544 555 and 581 sounding lovely and tuneful on the 243 today (not sarcasim)

Also to a PE engineer, 1614 is making an ear piercing sound coming from under the engine cover under the rear seats as though a part is scraping off another or something

Not had 581 in quite a while, had the same opinion as you before so perhaps it's changed, will have to hunt it down
