All decent bus stations should have adequate facilities, and wolves west brom and walsall all have pretty decent loos but has anyone ever had the misfortune to use the bog at Dudley bus station? ?? Jesus christ! Theyre like something out of SAW films!!!! A health hazard im surprised that A .. nwm allow dudley council to run such awful facilities and B theyre so bloody dreadful they oughta be shut! Also does the Connected City thing in brum include any provision? Cos birmingham council obviously want people to p##s in shop doorways considering theyve closed every bloody toilet theyve ever operated! Unless youre lucky enough to live in Harborne where theres 3!

Arriva / 31/2/3
May 19, 2013, 04:43:55 PM
Anyone else think this group of routes has a daft and complicated timetable? Why not just seperate them? The 33 is awalsall to cannock sservice why not renumber it the 3 in the style of the 1 & 2, and the 31 is a seperate cannock to rugeley route anyway...

Can anyone help with this? I might be moving to work at our main office in brum, and will be travelling to & from Cannock or henesford. Can anyone tell me which ticket I would have to get monthly, how much where would I buy it etc also how much would it cost per month for the X51 bus? Thanx

National Express West Midlands / Pye Greens

Anyone else think these routes need an upgrade?? They used to have proper branded buses etc and now you get anything from.an mpd a walsall branded sb200 endless knackered b10bles and hired in deckers! Talk about inconsistent!

National Express West Midlands / 62 to lichfield
April 06, 2013, 09:51:18 AM
Caught this today from cannock on an ex london dart in arriva livery, was told sorry I cant issue a daysaver, I can accept them but youll have to buy one from another bus then dash back over. How stupid! He had to lst a woman and 2 kids on in burntwood for free so she could do the same as she was going on to Stafford. Coupled with the fact that every other passenger was a pensioner it makes me wonder how they make money on this route

National Express West Midlands / THE 825
March 21, 2013, 08:28:57 PM
Is the 825 shortly moving back to stafford?

Does anyone else think its wrong that arriva are allowed to now have a complete monopoly in Cannock? The state of the buses is already bad and can surely only get worse? Why do garages like Tamworth get lots of investment and Telford at least maintain their older buses to a high standard yet Cannock are consistently poor? Surely there should be at least an element of competition on key routes???

Sat next to BU03 HRE At traffic lights today, the seats on this bus are beyond disgusting! Even the headrests are absolutely threadbare, HRJ/K Are as bad. Ive been on all of them and they are worse than any NX bus ive ever been on. When are they going to get done? And what sort of image does their current state give Arriva?

National Express West Midlands / Replacement buses
February 10, 2013, 06:44:34 PM
I noticed today there was a rail replacement bus on the chase line. Does anyone know if there will be trains running between Cannock & Birmingham on Saturday 23rd Feb & Sunday 24th Feb?

Anyone think there could be a missed opportunity here???

National Express West Midlands / Route 68 improvements??
February 03, 2013, 01:41:33 PM
Apparently due to a lot of complaints about reliability etc Arriva are reviewing the service, according to the Express & Star there will be two options, anyone know whats planned? Despite its odd poor timekeeping i think its morphed into a pretty decent route, and can get quite busy esp on the wednesfield section

I want to plan a day out down London with a couple of mates but its a nightmare looking for tickets theres that many different prices, websites, companies etc! It doesnt help that Im on the autistic spectrum so I get really confused and overloaded till it does my head in & I give up :-( Why cant they just have one national website or better still just have one company.  i think ill have to book national express instead

National Express West Midlands / Snow
January 18, 2013, 03:56:59 PM
I wonder if the buses in Cannock will be running tomorrow
#36
Apparently The 33 & 68 routes will be moving to Wednesfield garage once the takeover is properly completed, oh well the 33 at least cant have any worse buses on it even if they do use Midland's fleet the knackered Cannock MPDs currently on it are on a par with the Midland fleet

National Express West Midlands / CANNOCK NETWORK
January 05, 2013, 05:20:55 PM
Does anyone else think the network is ripe for a thorough review? Some services could change? be upgraded? Some reduced? some operated with deckers? i do

Has anyone noticed that years ago express/longer distance services were operated with coaches or at least coach seated buses eg the X5 shrewsbury was a coach, 112 burton to brum DP seated Olympians, X38 derby coaches, and particularly the horrendously long distance x64 ( now 64/164 for some daft reason) hanley-shrewsbury and the burton-leicester service ( again split into 2 routes operated by the same bus!, now they have standard vehicles on them. I mean 2hrs Leicester to Burton on a Dart or SB120 would equate to hell on earth! Slipping standards of comfort definately

Has anybody got a list of services that Midland Red north ran in the Cannock area in the 1980s??? Im sure it was a hell of a lot more than Arriva do now! The only area they didnt run to back then was Walsall. I can remember a 154/ and an 874/875 but dont know where they went

National Express West Midlands / WEDNESFIELD B6
November 30, 2012, 04:17:03 PM
I thought the B6s were supposed to go to Wednesfield but now 16 have moved to Stafford, and a few Darts have been withdrawn. Is the Stafford allocation a permanent thing? Because theyll all have to be replaced presumably if they are to move to Wednesfield. Personally i think most routes at Stafford would be fine with MPDs.....
