They have had them for years. The Presidents were built by the same company as the ALX, just a different factory

2900

With presidents imminent departure fast approaching and they being in various condtiions what would there market value be just gauging things like.
My guess the ones suitable for breaking worth £1500-£2000
The ones that require some tlc £2500 £3500
The ones that received the 2nd refurb £5000 £7000 at a push

Has anyone enquired about 4023 may be potential presavation, I read somewhere this is the very first B7TL  is this true

Stevo

I think it is a prototype. It had slight differences like smaller vents to the engine bay, and on the old WMT fleetlist was described as B7L prototype. If I chose one it would have been 4028, 1999 Bus and Coach show exhibit, with 'Volvo and TWM working together' or similar on the side.

Thought I remembered them briefly. Interesting as why the seats were converted.

Oh I see was that a different route to 900 now?
Completely different route. It linked Broad Street, Hotels and the Central Birmingham fast with the Airport and NEC.
Only one with high back seats that was not new to Yourbus for it was 4124 which was new to AG.

4053 has turned up in Dublin with Express Bus (Alan Martin Coaches) as their DD17 re-registered 00-D-120347 still in NXWM red and white. Another has been repainted yellow and is re-registered 00-D-120345 and might be former 4115 but needs confirming.
