I don't think they do have anything within the ring road at present @Stu, some go round the ring road. So none within the CAZ. I've seen 846 for example in Ladywood area.
Only 1, 882 commencing September 2021 due to a route change. Which runs through the Jewellery Quarter from what I can see on the website. But none within the main City Centre area still though.

They refuel at the Shell service station on the corner of New John Street West and Summer Row, which is barely just in the zone (although I don't recall seeing a camera on Summer Row).

Are those E400s not what were meant to be the original 4800-4829 / destined for NXWM in 2008/9.

There is a camera on Summer Lane, just past the petrol station

You can get in and out of that petrol station without entering the zone. The boundary on Summer Lane is just after the junction with Hatchett Street

Apart from one obvious one in that line up (the E400 MMC), I wonder if any of those other E400s have been trapped to Euro6 spec?

TGB have some school routes that operate within the CAZ I'm guessing, have they any Euro6 vehicles already?

I'm just hoping we don't have a repeat of when TGB started complaining about emissions standards after buying a load of Plaxton Presidents dirt cheap from NXWM!  ;D
Not just the CAZ, but there will be an Enhanced Partnership on the A45 and A34 starting in September so any route that serves at least one stop along these corridors will need to be Euro 6

Yes, even obscure routes like the 54, 424, or even the 77 in Walsall have to be Euro6

Wonder where the Euro 6 vehicles for the 72/73 services are going to come from?
Like 11 and 1/1A they get the older non Euro 6 B7TL buses.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Does the "enhanced partnership corridor" for the whole route or just the A45/A34?

The 72/73 just go across it at Sheldon, don't they? I don't recall them stopping on there. I know they stop on the B425 along with the X2 so they'd be included in that regards.

Ah, thought it'd be something like that. Also no idea why I called it Summer Row. I was staring at the map and everything.

Hmm. Much prefer the current livery - brighter and more original.

Its better than the red/white or white/maroon I often see on their vehicles!  :D
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

The Green Bus will be running an excursion to Buses Festival 2021 at the East of England Showground (near Peterborough) on Sunday 8 August. We intend to use Gemini 417.

Return travel will be £10 and return travel + discounted entry will be £18 (entry on the gate would be £12.50). Tickets must be booked in advance, we won't be able to take any unexpected passengers on the day (unless you want to pay the higher price for entry on the gate).

The current itinerary is as follows, with some flexibility depending on demand:

06:30 - The Green Bus depot, Park Road, Hockley, B18 5ST
06:35 - Hockley Circus, city-bound 74 bus stop before the island
07:30 - Walsgrave Tesco, Coventry, bus stop on Parkway
09:15 - arriving at Buses Festival

To book your place please message me or call the office on 0121 515 0440 and ask for Matt.
