So once all the repaints are completed, what is the next priority for repaint?

Tidying up earlier tatty repaints?

Will this also involve moving the fleetname to over the driver's window  / the door, as per recent deliveries?

You can see the type of vehicles that are next to tidy up by what is already on the list in paint, Acocks Green's Geminis seem to be priority with 3 done and two more at Walsall in the last month, and 4472 which is a similar age also going in.

Total 3 -   (2 to be painted, 1 to be withdrawn)

And when your total hits 0 Tony how does the new standard livery fit into the overall repaint strategy? Surely if they do more repaints or tidy ups in the current livery NXWM will be running with new and old liveries for years to come!

4450 might qualify as the first full repaint from NXC livery into NXC livery again (now that all of CV's buses are out of the old livery) 4404 being refurbed aside.

Has any announcement been made that existing vehicles will be repainted into the new liveries in due course?

I cannot think of another that has had a second repaint before, so I think you are correct

Given the number of unanswered questions on the site on this matter it seems increasingly likely that, as is often the case, for some reason NXWM are playing their cards close to their chest.
Alternatively perhaps they do not have a strategy yet, which seems very unlikely.
Have you any info Tony. Continuing to repaint into what will soon be the old livery seems an expensive and pointless course of action.

RW

Point taken. Thanks anyway Tony. No doubt all will become clear with the passage of time.

Are those in the "other buses category" away for repairs?

Anyone know what's happened to 5505? I hadn't realised this was out of service.

Buses regularly visit other places for minor repairs, sometimes just for a day Volvos go off the Hartshornes etc. 5505 is back at BC today, although not in service
