So is it a certainty that blue will be eliminated from Birmingham streets by 1/1/15?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

The front of 4432 may still have some blue on on that date

Just noticed on the list, 2112 (AG) is in for refurb - was it involved in an accident or something? I apologise if I have missed something obvious

Just being treated to a proper red front

Good idea - Glad to hear  ;) Once the TWM livery is eradicated, they could just slowly push the single decks (e.g Omnilinks/Eclipse Urban 2s)  through the paintshop - no need for retrimming etc. Just a red repaint.

2112 is getting a full repaint, not just red

Is this to eliminate "old body damage"? - Like what they have done with Bordesleys' Omnilinks?

Repaint ing the front would be a straightforward task and quick win in terms of brand completion.

So did anyone confirmed if NXWM will continue to re trim the seats when vehicles are repainted?

Liberator9

Well 4519 came out with full retrim, and it came out just after 4370 - so I reckon maybe they just missed two out, maybe due to delays with trimming workshop.

No change in the total today as todays arrival is 4518 from AG replacing 2112 now back at AG.
Trailways have finished the repaneling of 4308 and now have 4362. 4308 is another that will return to service without a retrim for the time being.

I think 4297 is due to be finished next, so WB may be the next garage all in red/white
