Lots of the Coventry transbus alx400s still have the log on the front under the windscreen after refurb.

You would think they would scrape that stuff off rather than paint over it.   :o

They don't paint over it, they paint round it. 4422, 4406 and 4413 are just a few examples of that, look at the pictures of them on the main site.

Although I have noticed perry Barr have removed some of the rear and front Alexander Dennis badges on some of their 61 plate enviros, and replaced the front middle panel, to the same as a 13 plate one. The 13 plate onwards enviros are built without the badge.

I think 4778 was referring to the 'logs' not the badges 8)

4407 has left the refurb bay at west brom garage guessing it's at Walsall for paint, another twm liveried alx400 has taken its place glass already out couldn't see fleet number.

It is 4589

West Bromwich has now finished CV4407 which is now at Walsall for repaint. 4589 has replaced it at WB in the refurb bay.
