Fair point, I would still like to think that another big player into the Brum market would ensure resources spread out on like for like routes and that carry similar types passenger loadings.

How could anybody compare the X4 in Northants (a lovely scenic sprint across middle england) to the Harbourne routes (some ok, some full of baggage)

People do slate B6's, but many of them don't realise there are worse out there, the Stagecoach S/T reg MAN's are known across the land as "barges". The shabby looking Ultrlows and Fiolines at First Potteries are in better condition than some Stagecoach buses

Agreed-visit Stagecoach NE anytime-plenty of S/T/V reg MANs about many unrefurbed. For balance, they have plenty of hybrids and smart e400's about but this is much like Rotala/EYMS/Centrebus/NX/Arriva/First/Transdev/RATP/Go Ahead etc etc.

Nobody was comparing the scenery, calibre of passenger etc, just making the observation that both receive a lot of attention from their respective operators.

Well said, however if you want to go down that route the X4 does drive through Corby (Whole town like castle vale) lol.

Presumably the boot lid panel didn't need replacing only filling, they don't replace every single panel, only those with the worst damage.

Yep there another one i've seen after repaint with the logo still intact

Lots of the Coventry transbus alx400s still have the log on the front under the windscreen after refurb. I personally like the logo.
Favourite buses currently:

Least favourite buses currently:
4203, 4213, 4398, 4419

having prepped buses and coaches for respray myself, you would normally remove badge not mask arount it. compared to badges fitted to vehicles at nxwm/twm in the past, disappearing after refurb/paint
