4055 being debranded from 451, panels off everywhere in garage for repaint - first one to be done ahead of the sandwell review, others to follow soon.

Ah good, was wondering today if they would be de-branded, or if the 4 and the 1 would be taken off the side windows, leaving the 5 for the new route number.

Noticed today, and on several occasions previously, that while AG's 4677 looks very nice with its new paint job and refurbed interior, they could have replaced the front LED display, as there are several 'dead' LEDs and the right-hand side is dimmer than the rest!

Got my first ride on one of the refurbed Geminis today, 4653, on a short 37E to Acocks Green, and while they do look nice now inside with the new seat trim, it does look a little odd on the blue plastic seats, compared to the grey plastic seats on the Omnilinks and Urban 2s.

Thinking of the tridents at WN most of the 46** series buses are still in old livery are they ever going to get done looking at they way refurbs are being done the livery will be changed again (look at the number of red variations) or the company will have new owners (not to say they will doing too well)

Its just a case of looking at the most battered ones and sending them. Next to go is 4599.

The last B6LE to be refurbished was some time ago, the 30 x Midis due in Dec will see off more of the these, so unlikely any more will be treated
