Just to confirm what others have said, I caught two Diamond buses yesterday and both were driven by former Whittle drivers who must have moved very recently.

rekcon  there could be more soon , and those that went from diamond to whittles recently will be  coming back to diamond,

Diamond KR must currently be over staffed at present, unless they didn't have enough drivers previously

Surprised it's still so quiet on the proposed Whittle's sale or closure.

Have their been any further additions to KR's allocation the past week? Other than 30512 S377TMB?

Was W936JNF already repainted allover blue?

Well I have been told by a source that IF Whittle isn't sold they will cease trading on Friday, December 12th.

A lot can still happen in those 6 weeks, especially if even move staff defect due to the lack of sale updates. I would like to see it sold, if even if it is to Diamond for a nominal amount, I doubt Diamond would be interested in the E200's as they're too new for KR. Another operator would be be more preferential to keep the Whittle's name going, but seems increasingly unlikely as time goes on.

Which is just 6 weeks away last Friday 31/10/14. and it  will be a great  shame if it does    last historical bus firm let in Kidderminster area , as the only other company going any length of time in the area was only started in late 1950s  Will is your  source  a  reliable one   and although  people in general still refer to whittle (myself included)   as whittles for a good few years now the company/ fleetname has been whittle

Yes! It looks all shiny & clean (it's about the only one that does) but as for 574 & 426 there has been  no sign whatsoever however I am going down the depot next Sunday (a member of management staff will be doing paperwork hence why I can go down) to take some photos so I will have a look and see if both vehicles are present anywhere

Not quite KR are missing 'Red Diamond' with 30516 at Long Acre I assume for repaint.

Tividale have the full set of all four liveries.
