I know it was years ago but I think the 192 might have had Olympians on it, in its days at Central Connect/Go Ahead/Long Arce. & the 292 more recently I believe Green Bus have used deckers when they ran that way one summer as X92. Im not sure if the recently added Hales Park estates would make a difference though.

I guess it would have to be route/road tested first as well?

Yes, Hales Park the only possible problem now on the 292, shame as that would be an amazing open top trip.

The 192 also interworks with the 7, again not sure if that could cope with DDs, and possibly not overly scenic!
