Winston, was the rear end similar to this?

That's is what I though I saw, but seeing the rear end of 'The Eighties' liveried ALX200 and the fact they have been moved round the other side since I last went past KR, it seems Will is correct & that is what I saw the rear of.

No the only scrap vehicles that's at KD now are the following ALL of these are on the ASDA side of the yard;

20656; V656 HEC (Royal Bath)
20254; Y254 KNB (The Eighties)
30433; T445 EBD (Black Diamond)
30378; S378 TMB (Wessex Connect)
31495; S405 TMB (Blue Diamond)
20503; T71 JBA (Red Diamond); NOT "scrap" as such but is withdrawn.
30901; W901 JNF (Wessex Connect)

If that's is now all the scrappers at KR, they've had a decent clearout, as there were at least double that when the Tividale yard was first cleared.

Is the ASDA side KR Town Centre side? Where the main allocation park?

Yes because the road that ASDA is on is the main road into the town centre from Stourport/Worcester

20113 what a mess!!! Missing logo on side, odd doors

X637AKW looked pretty smart of the 202 Sat, but is let down by the two poorly painted nearside skirt panels. I think they have been like that for some time as well.

Redditch-based Streetlite (30163; BV63 OFO) has made a very very odd appearance in Kidderminster tonight [Wednesday, Sept 24th] and has apparantly been seen by a friend of mine operating on the number 3! I can't think of ANY logical reason why it has come down to Kidderminster on a weekday night extremely strange!!

Was it definitely in service?

I haven't seen this vehicle at all including on Sunday when all vehicles are on show parked up from the roundabout which doesn't mean it hasn't been here just not on view or not stayed very long.

Could it perhaps have been on driver training from Redditch for drivers operating Sunday services on the 3/X3? The Sunday operation is after all run using Redditch drivers and Streetlites.

To my knowledge, it stopped around 3 hours and was on the 3's and a 4A.

Should the X3 to Reddich be renumbered to the 3R like the 2L to Ludlow? Because it is not to a standard what you should get from an EXPRESS service. The journey from end to end is about 1 hour and 20 mins I think on a good day with buses no newer than 54 reg most of the time.

No WIFI
No High Back Seating
No Dedicated Buses

Should this really be happening in 2014?

You have a valid point! But if I was you mate I would write an email to Simon Dunn and give him your thoughts on it whether or not he will take on board your comments/suggestions really remains to be seen but give it a try anyway! (deleted) let us know what he says (if anything possitive)

Can I ask what planet you're living on?

It may be 2014 but we are apparently in a time of austerity and bus cuts, sureley the main thing is to run the services themselves. When I travel to or from work, any bus with any seat and a copy of The Metro is just fine for me :)

1 point about the x3 it is not a express service    and  as for having wifi  and high back seating  the journey is only just around a hour  surely people can do with out wifi  and high back seating and as for dedicated buses  it would be uneconomical for diamond to have  for a route like the x3

Will I would have refered  the other poster to the question and answer section that simon posts on in this board rather than disclose his email address for all to see as he may not like it.

Please do not post Simon's Rotala email address on the forum or harass him with emails & PM's.

Post your questions / suggestions in the dedicated Rotala Management - Questions & Answers thread only! Simon will respond when his time allows.

I saw what looked like MW52 PZP in the depot round the back today. Could have just been 30500 though.

W906 JNF has left the VOR lineup once more, preumably for repaint unless its back in the garage.

The 3 has started becoming unreliable. At least two buses never turned up yesterday, one in the morning and one in the evening.
