Kidderminster update (28/05/14),

Stood at the bus stop this morning and saw Y3 JPT (not Y2 as originally thought) driving down Exchange Street I can only assume it was being driven by a mechanic & I also noted 2 other fellas on it, it was displaying "Diamond Buses" on the hanover display front & side and it has also been completely de-branded and looks quite odd without any decals/stickers on it whether or not it will enter service remains to be seen

Of course it will!! Presumably awaiting DIAMOND logos.

They could of just left it the way it was!

But for the fact that it carries Blue Diamond logos and At the heart of Birmingham strapline which needs replacing and they are in the process of doing.

Looks like its Darts for the 202 then. On the plus side, Tividale will now have two extra B7RLE to allocate elsewhere

I assume the Darts will be repainted blue in the not too distant future

Presumably to operate the 142/202/1. Thanks for the update-20849 and 30439 are absolutely fantastic buses!

It looks as if newer darts/those in better condition have been moved across, as opposed to 30454/5 as it may actually be worth repainting 30439!!

They won't just be exclusive to those routes Winston as I overheard a driver say last week that MUO/MUP will be used on those routes as well

@Winston pity they didn't send my favourite KW02 pointers :-)

Well presumably any bus will appear on any route at some point as allocations seem pretty flexible at the moment!! Long darts  min are needed on the 202 though...

You could find they may be only used on the 142/202 being allover black at least until they are repainted blue, as per the rest of the KR fleet.

Either way, the 202 needs long Darts & will be a bit of a come down from the leather seated 'Royale' B7RLE that the 202 passengers have become accustomed too....

I'd use the ex First Darts on the 202 where possible. They seem the least poor vehicles Kidderminster have to play with

@the trainbasher

They obviously didn't want to upset you.... as they know you have a soft spot for them.

I agree @Matt the ex-First Darts are actually the better vehicles of the KR fleet

There's a big difference between intentions and reality, I've seen them all over the place. I really think Kidderminster should be having Tividale's royales and not more poxy Darts as Kidderminster's services are far more suitable for them
