So who did the 424 then if VIP wasn't running ?

I don't think the 424 was running today. Can not recall seeing any all day

Nor me its due at 38 mins past the hour and didn't recall seeing one enter Birmingham or Leave, should there not be a replacement though if an operator isnt running as Imagine people still wanted to get out

Interestingly, just checked my Twitter and Network West Midlands reports,

"VIP Travel reports services are currently suspended" suggesting they have made the decision not to run the services?

At the risk of sounding slightly stupid, for what reason are VIP not running today?

Obviously my first thoughts would be VOSA has paid a visit or the company is in administration etc., however the fact they are still operating on certain contracts/routes, and with some dodgy buses (such as the one Tony saw being used with the window) makes me think that wouldn't be the case?

Unless VOSA have paid them a visit after hearing about their antics swapping vehicle identities / window repairs with tape etc

If VIP are suspended for a while longer, then maybe Diamond will take over the 424 for an emergency tender, like Central Buses on the 650, because these were the previous operators of these 2 services. Until new tenders can be awarded
