One thing I have noticed is that W228 DNO is still a Euro 2 Dart but is now carrying an Alexander Dennis badge

I've noticed that as well. Must of had a grille of a 'BU05' Dart

Are you sure it's not a 'BU05' Dart?

No, it is Euro 2 and is not refurbed to Travel London spec.

Which routes do VIP actually operate? Apart from the 99
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Stu

This announcement from Centro kind of reminds me of when Solihull Travel (part of AM-PM) threw in the towel and couldn't operate the S7 service (as well as another, think it was their X50 service?), which Central Buses operated for a few days, before Johnson's stepped in to take over.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Cheers John :). Do they still operate any journeys on the 966? I thought NXWM solely ran the 966/A now

No problem

They do/used to run alongside NXWM Mon-Sat daytimes (looking at the NWM timetable, the times are all over the place), and Sunday Morning 966A journeys, which are passing to NX at the end of the month

At the risk of sounding slightly stupid, for what reason are VIP not running today?

Obviously my first thoughts would be VOSA has paid a visit or the company is in administration etc., however the fact they are still operating on certain contracts/routes, and with some dodgy buses (such as the one Tony saw being used with the window) makes me think that wouldn't be the case?

So who did the 424 then if VIP wasn't running ?

Looks like "a different operator" might be operating the 99 this evening, Diamond perhaps?

Who ran it?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
