They've all been reprogrammed, the problem is it's been shouted throughout the whole bus.
Spent a day on the University & Harborne Platinums, and (in addition to the repetitiveness) I, too, have noticed the increase in overall volume. Probably aimed at those who are too immersed into their music with their earphones. :P lol

As much as I agree with the point of the announcements, this is just taking to another level, do people honestly need to hear the next 3 times?

Getting people used to more volume before the Brian Blessed narrated announcements are introduced  ;D

I agree the repetitiveness is completely unnecessary in my opinion.
Announcing "the next stop is" once is enough, if you were on a train it wouldn't be constantly announcing "the next stop is" non stop for the whole journey, it only does it once.

The X1 and X2 announcements, anounce "The next stop is Waggon Lane" and "The next stop is Clay Lane" as well they haven't used these stops for over a year. If it doesn't stop there it certainly shouldn't be on the anouncements.

Will the old internal route maps be removed/updated at some point, its been 15 months since the June 2017 East B'ham Service changes,
yet the X1 and X2 route maps still advertise connections such as the 966 to Erdington at B'ham Airport and the 59 to Kingshurst at Yardley, Swan?
When I was on 6839 on the X1 back at the start of the month, i'm sure, its X61 route map old X61 route map had already been removed.
Local Routes

The last X1 to Coventry at 23:00 was missed out and didn't run at all. Very disappointed in nxwm, good job the 23:54 train to Coventry is more reliable otherwise I would've been stranded in Birmingham all night! Even though it doesn't get me as close to home as the X1 does, it was better than nothing.
Favourite buses currently:
871, 1828, 4421, 4764, 6101, 6108, 6116, 6118, 6121, 6848, 6849
Least favourite buses currently:
4203, 4213, 4398, 4419

The new flags are up on Bath Row for the 23/24 but only in one direction? Are they missing Broad Street out completely outbound as part of the diversion? I can imagine that will cause some problems.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

According to Traveline WM -
They're only missing it out outbound:
Using Holloway Head, Bath Row and Bishopsgate Street, coming out at the top end of Broad Street (near the underpass) at Five Ways outbound.

Details of the Paradise Circus diversions are now on the NXWM website. From 23rd Sept, the 23/24 will follow roughly the reverse of the current diversion but terminating at the Squre Peg. So inbound via Bath Row, Smallbrook Queensway, New St Station, Carrs Lane, Square Peg, Colmore Row then out via Newhall Street, Edmund Street etc like the olden days.

I bet passagers working in and around Broad Street will love this.

I bet they'll be well aware of the Paradise Circus works if they work in the area. Isn't helpful that everything is happening on different dates though, surely just a mass "change everything on Sept 2nd" would have been better?
