I bet they'll be well aware of the Paradise Circus works if they work in the area. Isn't helpful that everything is happening on different dates though, surely just a mass "change everything on Sept 2nd" would have been better?

If you use Hagley Road buses it's not too bad, you can either walk to / from Cambridge Street or to / from the Novotel to catch the bus. On Harbornes it's a pain as you can get to work ok until 22nd Sept, but it's no fun getting home as the buses leave via Bath Row, and from 22nd Sept the reverse is true.

Looking on the bright side, at least it only lasts a year...

BigDaddyCool

All for a metro that has little to no point to!!!
Just create proper bus lanes, come down heavy on those that don't comply with them and get these buses moving from origin to destination as efficiently as possible. It's getting worse!

688* - X21

@MasterPlan really? A Platinum (with X20/X21/X22 branding) on the X21 is "Noteworthy"? Has it not occured to you that maybe BC use spare Platinums on the X21? They seem to be getting on there quite regularly now...

Maybe you need to read the spreadsheet.

They might have during the summer but as the timetables have changed I'd guess that there will be little to none available.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.

How would you know this?

It appears that has been the case with the 60, there were loads on there during the Summer (From what I saw, you'd usually see about 3 a day.)
But now the Summer Timetables have ended, I didn't see any on the 60 on Monday and Tuesday - It appeared to be mostly E400 operated with a few Tridents.

....

Maybe you need to read the comment that @Stu made saying he hasn't yet had time to update it but that it'd be useful if he was made aware of changes in the thread created specifically for that instead of moaning
You're obviously on the forum and read a lot of it so you have to know by now that it's a regular allocation
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

I wasn't the one moaning actually, I told him to read it in response to his moaning.
No I wouldn't say it's that regular really, it's mostly if not all B7RLEs normally from what I've seen. If someone knows otherwise then that's fair enough.

thats not possible as it was on the X70 and did the morning school run on the 70

Wrong.
Well obviously It is possible as it was on the 14 today (At the Maccadown at 13:00).
You may have seen it on the AM 70 at 8AM this morning( I never saw what bus operated that) but it was most certainly on the 14 at 1PM and would have been when @OH25 saw it at 11AM.

It's very possible. There is a 14 running board that does a trip on the X70 then goes onto the 14 for the rest of the day
Will this be the usual allocation then, or will it normally be allocated a Trident?

well it was 4166 yesterday

@Jordan, Platinums are not NW on the X70 on weekends. 6873 is Harborne branded so should be in the RBOR thread.

Michael Bevan

It looks like the ex X61 branded Platinums will be receiving generic branding. A photo has just been posted on Facebook of 6836 with it's generic branding applied, and apparently 6837 has been done too.
