QuoteThe 94/95 has a similar example the 19:40 ex City forms the 22:00 out on 95/15. While the 21:18 ex Chelmsley 95/28 runs back to the garage on arrival in the City.

One reason might be so the driver's start/finish at the garage rather than on the road at a guess.
For the 97, BC9701 is returned to garage after the 19:38 service, with another bus coming out of garage and doing the trip it used to do. Maybe it's easier for the drivers to catch up?

97/01 running board ends on that trip.

Lovely duty that one is, 1.5 trip then you do 2.5 trips, you get to keep the bus too.

Iirc those duty styles started over covid but they are the best, a lot better when you keep the bus - ask any late night driver and they'll say they are good, a lot more safer then what we have to do atm :| ...

Some drivers go back to garage and park up, then drive back into city, some drivers park up somewhere in city. Bromford rota has like 3 or 4, 94/95 has one, 97 has 2-4, sadly Bristol/Uni/Pershore/Harborne all lost them.
Your new favourite 61/63 late night driver 😂
