Just read a comment on my Flickr page that Central Trident 4622 is on the 18 today (I would say only a loan) - see bottom comment

It's a loan. 4616 [or 4618, can't remember] was on the 2 last week as well. Back at BC the day after. I dare say YW are short of buses. I recall some 44xx of BC's going there for a bit.

Yes they must be short of buses, I saw 1834 on the 35 yesterday at around 1pm.

What a set of trips to and from school today. On the 76E to Kings Heath this morning we just turned into Robin Hood Lane when we had to stop behind a red BMW that had been hit in the back badly. We just saw a car go storming off on the verge evidently escaping from prosecution. We stop behind the car and despite the road being dual carriageway a builder's lorry unloading by the car plus several other vans meant the lane was blocked off. The lorry wasn't going to move off for us and our driver got out to go and help the lady driver in the BMW. Her kids were already calling 999 and a few minutes later an ambulance car arrived and the police shortly after. Most of the people on the bus decided to go and get the 6 and 11; other cars got around our bus 4360 and the CH2 green bus by driving onto the verge and going round, including a lorry! After 10 minutes the driver advised the rest of us to get a 76 from the main road which was due soon as he was still going to be stuck there. Credit to the driver as he cared for the car driver and kept us informed. So I then got 4380 on the 76 with a divert down Highfield road. The scene was cleared soon after I left I reckon as the CH2 arrived not long after 4380.

Then my luck got worse later after a lorry broke down on the Bristol Road this evening; the 17:24 at Selly Oak took from 17:34 till 18:10 to get to Kings Heath due to the awful traffic in the side roads; even had the next 76 overtake us before Kings Heath. Absolute nightmare for the 76 today then and hope it doesn't happen again for a while!

No, by ex-50 Enviro, I meant an Enviro that was previously branded for the 50

So why would it be on the 1 which is an AG route?

Strange indeed, if AG were going to loan a vehicle from YW, surely it would be a President or Omnilink?  :D

The 1 is an AG route, that's why I asked.

Glad that's cleared up! Do the 2 and 3 still interchange at Birmingham, or do they operate on their own running boards, does anyone know?
