They tend to turn about one a week, usually on a Wednesday for some reason. If an Enviro does turn up is it usually a Toothpaste or Plain NX Liveried one, like 4799 or 4741.  However no luck this week; hopefully next week!

4698, 4799 and 4370 all on 50 today (along with the green bus dart) for anyone hunting them down. 4727 is on 35 aswell for anyone who never got a photo before the accident.

What time did you see 4370 on the 50? I only ask because I was outside work on Bradford Street (bottom end by Camp Hill) about 12:30pm having a fag break, and I'm sure I saw 4370 pass me either on the 2 or 3.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

It left Maypole for Druids Heath at 11:32, came back and left Maypole for City at 11:46. That is the time according to my camera though so it may be a little bit out but hopefully helps :)

Must have changed to a 2/3 when it got back to city then, as that would sound about right by the time I saw it.

Thought may as well post this here; picture of 4743 on the 76E, about to go on the empty run to YW garage to operate the 863 this morning. Shame it was so foggy really!

I wish the LED's would show up!! Refresh rate isn't that low for it to be missed surely?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I was thinking that as well; may have been due to the light conditions. I've taken some pictures before and the LED has shown perfectly fine. If it wasn't the light conditions I may have timed it exactly the same time the driver was changing the display to 863 or Not In Service.

Whether LEDs show on photographs is completely random. They are not on permanently, but continually flash on and off. This is invisible to the naked eye, but cameras with their fast shutter speeds can capture them off.

4390 drove down Aldridge road this morning with engineers on board, it now has a front LED display

I noticed this morning 4739 displaying "Alcester Lanes End 50E", on one of the booked shorts, yet the next one behind (4387) was the Standard "50 Short Journey". Not sure if this was an old programming fluke or if YW are no longer using the Short Journey displays.

### 4390 was the yardley wood bus that had a massive

Probably the reason why it's got a new led destination blind

Have to watch out for 4390 now; thanks for that info John. By the way at the same time I took that picture, 4698 pulled up. Only got the back end though unfortunately. First time I've seen it and looked incredibly smart actually after the refurb.

If 4698 is now at YArdley Wood it would explain why
1408 is outside Walsall paint shop possible withdrawal
From Yardley Wood

Had 4718 on the 76E this morning; best decker in the fleet I think. V.Powerful and in an excellent condition, with no rattling. Saw 4726 looking brand new with silver wheel trims on the 35 today, which was good to see.

You'd normally except a withdrawn B10l to go to Miller St rather than the paintshop, could it have been there picking up a YW E400 or Trident after being repainted?
