There are 8 ex Dundee Omnilinks at PB 7026-7033 and YW have 9 x B10L that will need replacing. It is was a transfer to YW, I don't know what would replace them at PB

Given the amount of omnilinks that appear on the 27 anyway, I would think YW could manage with 8 replacing 9, assuming it is a case of unreliable B10L. Worst case scenario the 84 could go decker again to free up the extra single if it was needed that badly? I am just struggling to think of what would replace them at PB, that more than anything makes me think it is just a loan now but maybe when the time comes...

If the remaining ex-Dundee OmniLinks did leave Perry Barr, then that would leave 28 OmniLinks left for the 28, 66, 66A and 952. The 46 is seeing more deckers now, and the 952 can also operate with deckers, so only the 28, 66 and 66A needs them due to low bridges in Erdington

So is 28 OmniLinks enough to operate the 28, 66 and 66A?

I wouldn't really know, I lost track of the 66 and 66A after the last changes! One other idea I have had, is that Walsall may get a batch of new single deckers to see off their last B10s, maybe they might get a few more to upgrade the 301 again, which could free up some more scanias for the Brum based garages? All purely guesswork.

No idea on 28 x Omnilinks for PB's single decker routes, you'll be able to tell us soon John ;-)

Don't forget WA also have B6LE's which can't be far off due for replacement as well as the B10L's

Wouln't PB be short of buses if the remaining ex dundee omnilinks transfered out?

Wasn't it as follows:

15 x E400 to YW (4718-4732)
4 x ALX400 to WB (4234 & 4247, 4249 & 4250)
5 x Omnilink to AG (7021-7025)

26 new E400's in & 24 buses cascaded out? There could be another 2/3 available to cascade around, 7026 could be the first of the next moves?

4390 towed into Perry Barr this morning, front end RTA damage. Looks like it ran into a road sign

Involved in an RTC at Solihull Station on Friday, no road sign invovled!

There's a report on the WMBus yahoo group suggesting that PB's Omnilink 1840 has also been seen in service at YW in addition to 7026,

Has anyone confirm?

That would be interesting if 1840 transfered to YW. I would be totally out of sync with the other fleetnumbers. I would have thought I another Omnilink transfered to YW it would be another 702*. If 1840 was in service at YW, Maybe it was just a loan?
