Well I do know that the weekend I went to Birmingham, there was only one 53 running on the route and the driver stopped at Heartlands Hospital and ran back to the garage. I didn't see any other bus coming the opposite way.

It was running both the last two times I was at the Fox and Goose in

My own observations & taking questions from intending passengers asking "if rhe bus is running today"
I don't take everything from bustimes.org as it is only acurarate to a point, obviously if a bus is running without a ticketer machine fitted or 8f the machine has failed then the bus doesn't track.

As its a Tfwm tender thats for tfwm to decide, I certainly wouldn't think it would be commercially viable for anyone

The Scania doesn't track, but that would be fun trying to get around the 424 route

Passenger complaint received suggests there is only 1 bus on 424 today passengers comment "not the first time I've stood waiting over an hour for this bus"

Services 28A & 53 withdrawn from 31st October & replaced with new service 93 operated by Diamond.

It's a shame the link from city centre would be gone, also shard end shops has lost the service alot of people use, perhaps 96 could re route up to shard end shops
