Just found this pic of 4882 at the ADL factory at Scarborough.

Is there any word to where these 5 are going.

My guess is Walsall for the takeover of the 934??

I thought the same aswell for the 934 and 936

Are 4880-84 part of the 50 or so E400 for NX. I think the rest of the E400 for NXWM will go to PB and BC (Does anyone have any other suggestions for which garage the E400 are going to?)

If I can speak from la la land for a moment, id like a handful in Wolves for main city services augmenting the B7RLE's. Back to reality, BC and PB would be the best guess as to where the other 50 will go

That's just what Nath was saying to me :P

The Sutton Lines are due new buses this year, so I imagine they will be Enviros
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

My guess is 4880-84 to WA for the 934/6 (Unless PB get the new E400's and WA get the 07 plated ones) 4885-94 as we know to CV and the rest split between PB and BC. Then Tridents from BC can transfer to WN and withdraw the spectras.

Not sure about the rest, but I would have thought that any spare Tridents may be cascaded to allow the withdrawal of further B10L & Merc 0405N's as first priority, I think NXWM are currently looking to increase the proportion of double deckers within the fleet at present, so I think the Spectra's will be around for another 12+ months at least before they come due for replacement

Trident 4609

Oh sorry i forgot :( The Spectras are here till early 2014 at the latest. When Will the E400 for NXWM will be due for delivery as i know 4880-94 are currently on delivery looking at photos on the internet. Do these E400 have the same new seating configuration as the E400H with the pull down seats now next to the stairs.

It appears that there is an initial batch of 15 only at this stage, not sure when anymore are due, if some are due for the Sutton Lines they will now enter service after the North B'ham Review changes take effect.

Has a date actually been confirmed for the withdrawal of the Spectras? I only remember seeing that they weren't being withdrawn this year, despite people thinking they would be replaced by the Hybrids at WN

Trident 4609

I got told by a fair few drivers and When i went on my Visit To WN garage they all told me the original plan was for the hybrids to replace spectras. Somebody on here posted saying it was now early next year (I think its in the NX Hybrids thread).

Could ship some new ones to Pensnett for the 9 and 141 to send the 09 plates to Yardley Wood to cascade tridents to the b10 routes that they and Perry Barr have?

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Then why not just give PB and YW the new ones then? BC are in need of new buses and from what i've seen PE need more double deckers. If PE do get more deckers it will be either part of the new batch or some cascaded over from PB. We will just have to wait and see what happens as we all know the plans change all the time.

As matt said i was thinking WN but we won't have new buses for years to come. However i would love WN to operate E400's on the 59  ;)

WA definetly need more buses for the 934/6 so it will either be 4880-84 or cascaded Enviro 400 from another garage.

I think its highly unlikely Pensnett will receive any new deckers or any cascaded Enviro 400's in the near future , the Birmingham garages will be far higher priority such as AG & BC both with large batches of older Presidents & Tridents respectively.

Pensnett, could definitely do with more deckers, but I think they'll have to accept cascaded Presidents or Tridents in the interim
