That's a good sign that it will be around for a while longer, looks a very tidy bus in general.

I think in general, the earlier Mercs seem in better condition than the later ones do.

I just rode 1540 on the 244 and it was absolutely flying along, fast and some good over-revs too, possibly the best Merc at PN

Noticed yesterday that 1645 is still on the casualty list at PE, having sat in exactly the same place at the garage for well over a week. Now has a red sticker in the middle of the drivers window.

The red stickers I always see on bus windscreens are dots about the size of a 5 pence coin and are usually on the right hand side (doors side)

Same here. We all know the Do Not Move / Do Not Start stickers.

We're on about this tiny red dot by the tax disc corner.

Sorry I didn't phrase that very well, I read the bit about the new flooring what I meant to ask was why is that something that is being done at Bordseley garage and not say Walsall or even at Pensnett and seems quite a big job for on of the early Mercs to be having done,
