Alot of NXWM buses have that small red dot on the windscreen now. I've seen them on all WA B7RLE's, WN B7RLE's and WNs Hybrids

It's a bindi, isn't it?

You're telling me the whole fleet is Indian?

I've noticed all BC refurbs have the dot, I'll have to notice if none refurbs have the dot.

Could it be something to do with Tax/Insurance? But how hard is it to look at the discs..

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

687 is the last of the druids....  4697 is deeply non-conformist.
Don't you start.

Mid morning today, 687 still hadn't arrived at PE, so take it that its still hanging on at WN.

Looks like the remaining Excels are awaiting it's arrival before departing.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

687 made its final journey to PE last night, it's now withdrawn and so ends the era of Excels in Wolverhampton :(

1543 has taken up residence in Bordesley garage

It's parked next to the skip, but I don't think it has been binned! Appears to be there for some new flooring

That's a good sign that it will be around for a while longer, looks a very tidy bus in general.
