Just noticed, the Saturday timetable for the 244 is a timetable for the 241.

You don't seriously expect their not to be a problem.

The X64 changes are under the Birmingham changes section of the website. Bizarrely it is keeping the 'X' despite being nothing of the sort - journeys take up to an hour and 3 minutes to get to Bangham Pit.

I'll correct myself before someone else does - the new 'X'64 takes no more time than the current Limited Stop version - some journeys are actually quicker.

Ah the 637. I remember catching that once to see my ex-girlfriend who lived in the area between the Tesco and Harborne Junction. A few weeks later we broke up. Needless to say that whenever I caught the 636/99 it was kinda awkward seeing her on the same bus.

Very disappointed at the lack of evening and Sunday journeys between Halesowen and the QE hospital.

Also of note is that the 48 is only half hourly between West Bromwich and Harborne Swimming Baths on a Sunday.  Harborne to Northfield is reduced to hourly.

Also, no late 48 journeys between Northfield & Harborne on Sunday evenings.

Presumably low passenger numbers have dictated these changes but services to the QE have taken a real hit with these changes. 33% less buses per hour from the city centre, Harborne and Bearwood to the hospital, with more drastic cuts at night. Fewer buses from Northfield and Weoley Castle too.

In lieu of the truncation of service 3, I propose the 76 be routed off Chinn Brook Road to instead serve YW garage and School Road.

Why would BC need 9 B7RLE in return?

God hope not- do 801-809 all need to move? I would have thought not

Well Central won't keep them when the 99 goes, no suitable route for them. They all don't have to transfer to Pensnett

Westy

We'll have them at Walsall.

Could we convert a route totally to E200 there?

I don't think BC will need much in return, possibly nothing. There's no replacement route and the PVRs of the 98 and X64 should be unchanged, possibly 1 extra bus if they are increasing running time to improve reliability? I think it's a safe bet that this will see the end of these washing machines on spin cycle at BC though.

Probably not relevant to this, but just some general info, I've seen some sample duty sheets and there were three boards that start from garage in the afternoon. I've also heard that there may be 98E QE journeys to help out in the peak.

Fingers crossed all the E200's get shipped out!
