Yes - 452 and an Olympian (sorry - didn't see which one) were on the 50 yesterday morning.

This morning, the step entrance buses on the 50 were Olympians 904 (as already reported) and 907.

No it isn't. There is a post further down the thread stating that Centro are not happy with TGB's antics!

One of the regulars on the 50 atm

Does anyone know which buses have gone up to Scotland for Commonwealth Games Duties?

Kevin

Yesterday evening I had a plan to travel on some of TGB 50s including some of the different routes they take...
17:33 city - Maypole (the one that goes via Yardley Wood)
18:22 Maypole - Wythall (Johnsons 150)
18:39 Wythall - Maypole
19:28 Maypole - City (the one that goes via Druids Heath and brandwood)

plan went completely to shit....

Got to the bus stop by Selfridges about 17:25, no Green Bus turned up til about quarter to (907 - displaying "Wythall")
While at the bus stop a Green Bus Dart pulled up behind, unloaded, and went off again, as did a Johnsons 150. We eventually left on time as the 17:53, and tootled along all the way to Wythall. I thought, no worries I can get the Johnsons X50 back at 18:52 and still do the other 50 back into the city.
Got back to the Maypole about 19:00, plenty of time for the 19:28 still, but I didn't know where it was gonna stop (best guess would be with the NX 50s not with the Wythall services), so caught NX4747 to Druids Heath, popped into the McDonalds there and waited for the Green Bus 50... Which of course failed to show up...

Gave up, got the 35 back into town about 19:55, went home disappointed.

Hope it was a one off, bit of a crap impression of a bus company if they manage to run some buses on a route on time but others either hideously late or not at all
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Hi Kevin,

I had no idea about the route variations on the 17:33 & 19:28 journeys...

Can you expand on the routes they take, please?

There was a list of 'possibles' posted on here a while back, from which any sighted locally can be deleted; I'm down to 10 from:
106  107  108  110  111  112  114  115  117  118  119  120  121  122  123  (15).

Has anyone seen any pictures of them in use in Glasgow? There are plenty of pics, of the shuttle buses to be found on the internet, but I've not seen a single Green Bus yet.

108, 115 and 121 are still here.

Sorry - you can disregard this request, as I have found the detail on the Network West Midlands site. (Doh! Should have thought to look there first...)

A Green Bus broke down on Bradford Street today causing all 2, 3 & 50 route buses to have to be diverted
