Stu,

When i went to the garage they said they have branded too many E400H so may have to debrand some.

The 59 and the 1 could both be operated fully hybrid with at least 5 spare as there are less than 10on the 1 and definetly only 6 buses on the 59 on sunday.

If they do debrand a couple of the E400H routes like the 529 can have a few on sundays.

Only reason spare hybrids (3 on Saturday and 2 mon-fri) are used on the 59 is because (This is what i was told on my Park Lane garage visit) the 59 is so frequent (Every 5 mins Mon-Sat 9 mins sunday) that if a Hybrid breaks down on the 1 then they can take a bus off the 59 without causing too much disruption.

From what drivers and PL garage told me, the 1 needs 18 buses with a spare bus in the garage for a afternoon peak running board wit 2 hybrids used on the 59.

On saturday 3 hybrids were on the 59 (5511/13/14) so this might be a regular occurance.

On Sunday i was expecting at least one hybrid on the 59 but didn't happen

Lets hope they're debranded tidily, unlike some of Walsall's B7 singles, which still had 37 branding showing through!

I don't know if they are exactly debranding them but what they told me when i visited the garage was that too many had bben branded.

Gareth

Branded too many? Sloppy management and bad organisation!

Well somebody on here said on here somwhere that only 9-10 hybrids would be branded altogether.

I thought some of the E400H would be unbranded but evidently not as from what i've seen 5410-21 are all branding.

But it is Park Lane we are talking about so Branded B5's and the E400's will appear on the 59 at some point. E400H on the 59 would be better than the B5's as because there are a few less seats downstairs the 59 was packed today wheras the E400H have much more seats so would be better for the 59 regarding capacity.

Plus i would love to see a E400H on the 59. I alredy programmed 5418 into the 59 at Park Lane Garage which i have a photo of on my phone.

I think 1785 is the last of the shabby WA BZR's

Yeah it is. 1785 is the last ex-37 branded one still in TWM livery. you can still see the remains of some of the 37 branding under the end of the adverts.

It will be such a shame if they have to debrand some of them as i think the paintwork never seems to be perfect once they take branding away.

I do hope that the Hybrids make appearances on other WN routes on Sundays Nathan as it would be a shame having them sat in the garage after the money that has been spent on them, also would give the ideal opportunity to see how hybrids compare to normal buses on other routes. Would there be any advantage gained using them on routes 126, 255 & 256 which are less start stop than other routes?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I would love to see Hybrids going down the country lanes of the 255/6!

PM

Have they stopped refurbing the alx 400 bodied b7ts??

Trident 4609

Stu, I wound't know about if the 126/255/6 as i am only 13/almost 14 but from posts on here i gather hybrids on the 126 wouldn't work. Although they are definetly programmed to the 126 as i programmed in 5418 to the 126.

I would love to see hybrids on other routes but the 59 doesn't even have hybrids on sundays.

From what i see in Wolverhampton on Sundays, They try and keep the same type of bus on the same routes.

You only get the Hybrids on the 1, tridents on the 32/33/79( Interwork), 59,126 and 529.

B7RLE's on a sunday are used on the 2,3,4,5/25/27 (Interwork),11,X1,255/6 with a single B6 on the 62.

From what i've seen each sunday PL garage try and keep the same type of bus on each route.

The 255/6 only need B7RLE on a sunday

Nathan, i never realised that Wolverhampton were so strict with there allocation on Sundays. I know i have seen an evening 256 with a B7RLE before, but thought it may have changed over during the evening. Will be interesy]ting to see if the single B6 on the 62 survives now the X1 is withdrawn, or does it have to be a B6 due to the roads it uses.

Trident 4609

Well this is only on sundays. Mon/Sat buses are all over the place.

The roads are quite narrow on the 62 route with parkedcars although a trident did appear a few sundays ago.

Sundays are quite boring in wolverhampton for spotting.

NX are now doing the Sunday 10 service either with arriva or replacing arriva on there.

I think with the X1 going a B7RLE will be used on there

Kevin

Replacing Arriva on the 10 I believe
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....
