Is there any news on 4816 yet?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

It is still being kept well out of the public eye until a decision is made. Any information management want known I will post on here, but until then there is 'no news'.

Strange thing today is trim shop have finished the seats fro deroofing victim 4234 and have done them in the dark blue moquette, nothing else has been done in that for months!

Gareth

Must have found a roll up the back somewhere! A bit like when the ex gas buses were re trimmed in old blue and red WMT spec moquette

Do we know how long until 4234 is repaired?

The whole set or just the top deck? And I'm sure 4006 was probably the last one to use the dark blue moquette as only the top deck was retrimmed

About half a dozen, I reckon.  Seem to see three or four in the old TWM colours on any given day, but 4502 is now in new livery, so I think it's basically 4484, a few 449x, plus 4500 and 4515 left to do.

Are you sure about that? 4502 was only on the 7, on the 6th in TWM livery. Surely it hasn't been refurbed, repanelled and repainted in 6 days  ???

Unless my eyes very much deceived - mind you, I was driving at the time, passing the Gem in the opposite direction on the Expressway near the old fire station...
Don't you start.

Shouldn't of. The 44's are banned off the 900. They are the best buses for the service but they were grounded at the airport speed humps. Having said that, what about the ones on the 97?

I won't mention names but a driver off there (going back when the Coventry rota was just that) he would speed over the bumps at the airport, thus causing the rear end to bounce down and smash the gearbox off the hump. The 44's have a lower set box then any other trident.

Odd though as when we had allocation issues an OmniLink would find itself on the 900, and that was OK at the airport.
