Was the 23 on diversion in Woodgate Valley, even if it was only for a few minutes?

If not, a driver on 686* (it may be 0 or 9 but can't be too sure now) drove straight down Sommerfeld road instead of turning right onto Stevens Avenue (missing 3 stops).

They also nearly failed to stop for a pedestrian at the zebra crossing by Hillcrest School.

I thought drivers had to sign something to certify that they knew a route before they could drive it.

Of course if there was a diversion then you can ignore this.

Edit: It occured today between 4:10 and 4:20PM (23 to Birmingham)

Maybe he made a mistake, and by you posting it on here will land him a disciplinary?

The x22 was meant to be on diversion today, not sure about 23

Not really. I just am interested if it was a mistake or an actual diversion was in place.

Will X70 be getting next stop announcments?

7523 went pass me on the X12 today and I thought it was a 5. Good old times. I wish 75** return to Acocks green sometime. It was Lovley to see platinum buses everywhere in the village everyday.

My apologies, I didn't intend for it to sound accusing.

Not an "oddity" as per say, but it's something which I think may be of interest to some people. I've just been looking through some photos and have just realised that 1938, 1941, 1942, 1946, 1948, 1951 and 1952 are the only Omnilinks in NX's fleet to still have the Scania badge on the front panel.
4872 has an ADL badge as well. It surprised me when it turned up when it turned up while I was waiting for the 55/94 a few weeks back. As i've not seen it on the others.

Nice allocation on 55/94 corridor these days with newer E400 and Tridents on 55 and older E400/Gemini on 94. Plus odd Omnicity on 94 or Platinum on either route can turn up. As well as Claribels Pulsars. So a varied fleet.

Another unusual thing i've remembered is 1833 is the only one to still have the grey area on the front where the Scania name used to be on the older Omnilinks.

Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Yes, 1833 was a very early repaint. It's orangey paintwork standing out a mile. It was also the last of the BY Scanias to be retrimmed with grey seats before the current refurbs.

Could 55 ever get some branding on these e400 which look quite bare?

They are no different to any other unbranded E400

Disappointingly it seems that a stop has been added between George Road and Granville St for the X20/X21/X22 where the 98 and X64 used to stop (though not updated on the announcements). Can't see the point of this unless the 'temporary' stop on George Road is going.

Is this stop supposed to be used or was this flag supposed to be for the stop on George Road? Because you still get 'Next stop Granville St' yet some drivers use this stop.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

Saw 4612 with a grey front display like the platinums have displaying 55 Chelmsley Wood via Ward End today.
Presume the grey displays new, as not seen a BC Trident with one before.

94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Actually happening then, I always thought the development was to do more with HS2 as opposed to new homes. Wonder where new site could be? Could there be room to share with the HS2 depot on Drews Lane?
