From what I've noticed the 75 series have the next stop annocements , also will the X70 gain next stop announcements
Some of the 75** have announcements for the other BC route, I saw 7526 on the 23 recently with the announcements and displays working.

Have the announcements worked on the X12 since transferring? I rode 6827 on it the other day and no working announcements but I'm pretty sure some of the others have? They are probably just taking time updating the system.

I can't say, I haven't used the X12.

Seems that the announcements don't work on any of the 753*s.

That was a quick change of mind

Jack

6826 has working X12 announcements, so non 75** do have them just not all been updated.

I haven't changed my mind at all, I said it seems that they're not working on any of the 753* buses, which is based on the 3 I mentioned in the following post...
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

4442 attacked this evening on 55 by youths on washwood heath road, smashed the windscreen and the left hand side mirror. Bus had to be taken out of service.

So Omnilinks don't have windscreens or mirrors?

It actually costs more to replace a Scania windscreen than a trident one

Either way, being it happened on Washwood Heath Road meant that it could've happened to a 94 instead.

The idiots just wanted to smash something up and that 55 just happened to be the target.

I've been on 3 Omnilinks on the 55 that had windows smashed.

All the 55/94's I passed between City Centre and Ward End were all displaying "Bus Full" or had full loads as well this evening while I was on 4445 going the other way towards City Centre. Also saw 2 X12's also displaying "Bus Full". That was about 16:30 this evening.
Even the claribels bus was displaying "Bus Full Sorry", and had a full load from what I could tell. It alternates between that and another display, not sure what that one says.

There were also large crowds of passengers waiting at Priory Queensway and also Saltley Gate (towards Ward End stop)

The Tridents/E400 are much nicer buses in my opinion than the Scanias we had on here previously. And they have much more room on them and extra capacity.

Otherwise there'd probably be loads of passengers left behind plus very overcrowded Scanias instead.
The Scania single deckers aren't really suitable at all on such a busy route.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

So glad i don't live on that corridor any more and just when i leave seems Castle Brom has had investment in the form of additional x70's so fair play to NXbus.

A full Claribels bus very odd.

Not at all odd. Maybe since Covid entered our lives, but the claribels 94 was regularly full in peaks.

And they'll be full now because all the thick people are out panic buying.
