6858 & 6860 both now come out to play, so 6 out for the evening peak; 6862 & 6863 also now delivered

Should stay out until after midnight doing a mix of 24s & 29s

My hopes of catching a first day in service Platinum were dashed by 4945 this morning and 4594 this evening - never mind, I guess we won't be seeing too many Tridents on the 22/23 from now on.

Glad people are enjoying the new buses, while once again there is overcrowding on the 29.

I'd have thought that all these platinums on the 22, 23 & 24 would free up some deckers but apparently not.

Then again I suppose it won't matter when the 29 is scrapped altogether
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

If you haven't noticed 6860 is doing some 29s today. It will next do the 20:00 then 23:30 from City

Well obviously not.

Interworking with the 24 in the evenings is the norm anyway.

So what's you moaning about? You wanted Double decks on the 29, NX have spent several million pounds buying a brand new fleet for the route, but your still not happy.

Are you actually serious right now? I'm supposed to be pleased that the odd one appears on it in the late evening?
Aa for a new fleet for my route, as I said it won't matter when the 29 gets scrapped.

Yes, what do you expect all 38 to magically appear? IF the 29 gets scrapped you will still have a bus service run by brand new platinum buses to Birmingham City Centre

Jesus. We've only got to 6860. 6861 - 92 have yet to even hit the road!!!

You've completely missed my point. What I said was surely other compliant deckers were freed up today as they weren't on the 24 etc. Unless they've already left BC.
WHEN it's scrapped no we won't because nothing will directly replace it. The 23 and 24 don't cover this area.

Once all 38 have arrived the 29 will be covered, just be happy you are getting a 5 year upgrade from the 12 plate b7s (you are moaning about 29 getting singles, get a X61 or 63 to Northfield and catch the quieter 29 from there where ever you live) ... I get Tridents with the odd platinum if I'm lucky. I am happy for a bus to turn up!

So quit your moaning or else you will be monkeyjoe mark 2 accept your current buses are only 5 years old and when the platinums arrive you will have the youngest of the whole fleet whilst monkeyjoe has Gemini's on the 94!

I totally stand by my comments , this corridor getting another upgrade. If resources were distributed fairly I wouldn't have an issue. In my humble view they are not so I do.
