Still being operated by the red Omnicity. X21BUS.
isn't that going to have problems navigating the tight roads in Small Heath?

NXWM used to have Metrobuses and Lynx's in this area when the 99 used to run through there. Apart from a bit of waiting to pass parked cars, there never used to be an issue.

And the 24 (Ward End to Small Heath) used Metrobuses when operated by NXWM about 10 years ago. The 28A was numbered 24 back then.

Seen it yesterday by Asda Small Heath. Thought it was the NX28 until I saw it was red and black and that the rear was different from the NX Scanias! :D

The 28 Small Heath extension has always run after 5pm even when it was known as the 28B

And still today they haven't got working destination displays on the Omnicity after nearly 2 months. Still has a paper with 28A on it in the windscreen.
Wander what their reasons for this are?

Didn't they only just start working on the route a couple of weeks ago?

Was April I think, so 7 weeks ago now.
I've been wandering when it will be done for a many weeks now, but still hadn't got a working destination display when I saw it today.

They may not have the correct programming software or the hardware to install the displays into the controller.

Aren't they using that Omnicity until they get a E200?

They're still incapable of spelling "Smith's Wood" correctly so the paper signs are probably an improvement!

Does it really matter?

Yes, as the destination must be accurate.
