Any new investment at Birmingham Central needs to go onto routes like the 45/47, 61/63, and the 97. I think the 56/90 could benefit from new vehicles and a joint branding too. Harborne has had a hell of a lot of investment lately.

The 45/47 & 61/63 maybe upgraded to Gold Corridors that was mentioned in the £81 Million Investment :)

It's certainly the treatment they deserve :) any chance the 14 could get new buses in the near future do we think? Has massive patronage, and I know it goes through some "less than desirable" areas, but it just looks tatty at the moment.

I think they should operate the 14 on Volvo B7RLE's. I don't understand why they haven't done so already. The buses going into Chelmsley Wood look nice on those ;) (I do understand i am not taking notice of capacity)

It would look nice :') however, I've been on Tridents many a time that are completely full to the brim so I think B7RLE's would struggle! Some Omnicity's would look amazing, but I'm just biased because I love the Omnicity's haha

Same, it's coming quite off topic now but oh well! Such a shame to see the OmniCity's come off the 16! Or even to leave BC (looked nice on the 29)

I agree with you  ;)! 14 route should conversion Double decker to Single Decker. And make it frequency changes from Every 7-8min to Every 6min, and that means There will reduce anti-social behavior and chavs people can't smoking in single decker cuz Drivers can smelly expect some drivers have anosmia!

Now that the 14 serves Chelmsley Wood and is the only service along Alum Rock Road, having single deckers on the route again is a bad idea.

It may reduce anti social behaviour to a point, but yiu would probably have to increase to a 4minute frequency. Meaning even more traffic congestion on Alum Rock Road.

I'm guessing more BC tridents will transfer elsewhere. I have heard PE may gain Some 44** tridents  (This came from Driver03)

Not in this batch, but when we get the facelift ones we could see some 44's going.

Yes thats what i said. Driver03 said the plan is for PE to have some 44** tridents! Tbh WN should have them to withdraw the Spectras
