And so the recently acquired Enviro400's of BC, for 900/957, will soon be moved to the Pershore Road, in lieu of new, faster E400's in the spring.

That'll be the most recent BC rumour.

And change to the current listings, 4364 on the 900 this evening. Possibly last run prior to YW acquisition.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Love these rumours that go around garages. As Simon said on his 'ask Simon link' it isn't even definate that the next few arrivals will go on Sutton, and there has been no decision on what buses they are buying next year yet, yet alone allocations

Well yes, but it does make sense as near all drivers on the 900 have put in various complaints about timekeeping and the speed issue on that road.

Not only that the union have been involved in such decisions.

Spoke to a few 900 drivers and they all say the new buses arnt fast enough for the 900, particually at pulling away on the watering Hole island.

So we've had BC Mobile, The Rat, The Retiring Rat and now Liverpool Street, what next?

Perhaps then the new Enviros at BC should be transferred to PE for the 9 and the 48xx PE enviros transferred to BC for the 900/57
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

As the top speed is the same as the tridents that have run the service for years I am not sure how they are not 'fast enough' Acceleration will be identical for those at WA, CV, and the older ones at PB. Acceleration is far more important for keeping time on routes like the 33 & 51 than Limited stop routes

If timekeeping is an issue, couldnt an extra bus be added to the shchedule of the 900  so the running time can be a tad more generous or are there drawbacks to this?

Well with a usual 20-30 minute drop back I don't think it'll be that hard to not include another bus. But only the uneducated would argue the point there is ample running time on all roads.
