Not all mercs going to withdrawn! Engineering has been replace the old logo and fitting the new logo on only R,S,T,V with NX livery!

- Lost 15 Scanias in June and transferred to WA for route on 34/38.

- 2 B6LE to WN.

- Some mercs will additional fleet for changes bus on the 9th June! For e.g- Extra peak times on 5,7 and 23 will be Every 15min but before 26th Feb was Every 30min. 2/3 will extra buses for timekeeping on timetable and 13/A will extra buses for rest in terminate 4-5min.

- On the 9 June- 16/A will full operate on Double decker and Service 10 could get New ADL when the spare will going on the 11/12.
Not sure about 18/A maybe converts to Double Decker????
I'm dislike double decker! I love a bendy buses!

New timetables now on NXCs website allow the following conclusions are drawn

Services 5 and 7 will still be every 30 minutes providing combined 15 minute service to Coundon.
Same number of buses as now, some workings start earlier to cover for separation of Middlemarch journeys to 27A

Allesley Park retains 15 minute provided by service 23 requiring 3 buses.

Cheylesmore served by routes 2 and 3 each every 20 minutes providing combined 10 min service to Quinton Road - currently 7.5 mns
This will require 5 buses.

Toll Bar End served by route 27 off peak hourly requires 1 bus - currently every 30 mins on route 3A

Overall new 2, 3, 23 and 27 timetables require 9 buses against current 2/3/3A which requires 10 buses.

Route 13 appears to require one more bus in morning peak.

Route 16 journeys which are double deck currently are for specific flows of school traffic.
The 19 journeys need to be double deck but this can be facilitated by interworking buses from other routes.

I'm willing to bet the 27 will get behind time by some way, just like the 3a did.

Looking at the timetables, it seems that the 27 might well interwork with the 42, as I think was suggested by someone before the timetables were announced, in which case keeping time wouldn't be nearly so difficult.
This would make a lot of sense.

I do worry about just 2 minutes' layover being given at Toll Bar End though: even with the five minutes given on the 3a, that was very often not enough to recover from late running.

Is this official that the 19 is to be 100% DD-operated?

Not really, In 7am most happen 19 is to be single decker expect can use double decker are not 100% and Evening peak time over 3pm can be seen almost double decker on the 19. Sometime when Double Decker is empty in garage and pick up single decker swap to other route from double decker then double decker go on the school route then peak time 12 route.

Route 19 info is not official, just common sense as the morning single deck buses are usually full. The 08:22 was converted to double deck in last set of changes.

We know the new 2 and 3 will interwork at Fenside for every journey, but it's also interworking with the 23 service during the evenings and on Sundays, but hopefully we will see B7RLEs allocated on Sundays otherwise it's an awful lot of work resetting the route number and destination with roller blinds.  ::)

They may just opt to leave the rear and side blinds blank, or just position the rear blind so that it shows the bottom of the '2' and the top of the '3', like they used to with the 128/9
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Drivers have shown "9 9A" on the rear they could show "2323"for 2,3,23!.

Seriously it's pretty daft interworking routes 2 and 3 with the 23 as they terminate in different city centre locations, especially as Cheylesmore ends up with a 20/40 minute service in the evenings and on Sundays.

This is undoubtedly because it is a Centro tendered operation to meet the needs of the Finance Department rather than the customer.

Yeah u correct, New state of the art technology to combat vandals is also in the pipeline, providing hi-tech CCTV equipment triggered by motion detection which capture faces of culprits

I'm hoping the new 2/3 route within the City Centre will be via Quadrant and Corporation Street in both directions, and not via the current 3/3A loop. Longer scheduled dwell time at Trinity St during the core daytime, and the certain journeys interworking service 23 are two reasons why it shouldn't be a big loop in the City centre.
