I don't think WB has the capacity to take on all these new services as i thought the garage was already near enough full but if people are saying PB is full aswell then I'm not sure unless Pensnett takes on some of these new service such as the old 450 service that is being extended to Merry Hill.

Don't forgot that some existing WB services are being withdrawn and replaced by new services / existing services extended. I guess it largely depends on how much the new Pvr increases by

WA will need a handful of extra buses for the 4 / 4H & 4M,

WN for the X1,

Then whatever WB will require for their increased commitment and whether any routes / new routes will transfer in to PE

only another 7 buses are needed fot the new network apparantly to start with, possibly increasing later
an empty bus is a happy driver.

nx4737

This thread makes it sound as if NX are trying to shoe-horn too many routes and buses into not enough garages...

Will the extra's be pulled out of reserve in the interim?

From what ive read on previous posts, spectras have got another year left in them.

So 2153 is going back to wolverhampton, for the x1 maybe ?

I thought the hybrids were replacing the Spectras

Spectras going knowhere.
So where will the spectra go then. So will they get rid of some of the transbus tridents then
Bearing in mind there is no mention of new buses to WN yet.

apart from 12 new hybrids and 9 transfers, I can't see that wn will receive any more new buses next year, maybe the year later.

Rob,

1688 is already at WN, will 2153 now be acquired & painted? I'm assuming it will be for the X1

Presumably Rob means 1668 from WB?

Possibly, but wont WB be needing extra buses for the Pvr increase themselves
