The 97 and 37 services are sufficiently served by NXWM, so no replacement needed.

The 30 service between Solihull and Acocks Green is not being withdrawn, that must have been a mistake, as its their 30 service in Coventry thats being withdrawn and taken over by Community Transport.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Any other information on the Green Bus 125? They don't seem to have much success on the 558 so why are they introducing another route? \

Green Bus are running 125 between Wolverhampton and Dudley between about 9.30 and 3.00 to fit in with schools and avoid the need to go dead back across to depot - as the 558 used to.

The 558 is busy at times and based on passenger numbers to increase the frequency of the service - I think buses not running in school holidays in the past and only running 9 - 3 has had a negative effect. I have seen and heard people waiting to use Green Bus to pay £1. The move of bus stop away from the 126 and 1 stops in Dudley Bus Station to 3/4 stops further along hasn't helped but people are waiting at the new stop. I used the route 2 Saturdays ago about 2pm and asked the driver how it was going - it was his first time on the route so couldn't offer much of an opinion other than he taken almost £60 since 8.30

I wonder what effect going from distinctive smart, green buses to the red single deckers will have?

Well I was waiting for the Green Bus Number 558 in Dudley this afternoon and the driver pulled up with doors open, stopped for about 2 seconds at the most and drove off with the doors still open meaning I literally didn't get a chance to get on the bus, and I am a 18 year old so it was hardly like I was taking my time, wasn't very impressed at all, and you may have a point, seems even quieter now they are running those awful ex-London single deckers which I have been on but are so uncomfortable and noisy

with Green bus going on the 125 they will soon fail all what NXWM will do is flood the route with 126e buses like diamond always on infront into dudley and one back into wolverhampton

Trident 4609

Yesterday everytime i saw a diamond 59/59H there were 1-3 passengers on there at most but today there were about 8-9 passengers on the first journey of the day today. At some points the diamond bus can get very busy like a few saturdays ago i saw a diamond bus on the 59 and it was absoloutley packed.

I think the best route Diamond have is the 56 - But they give ridciulous allocation at Peak Times :(. Like this morning there was a Dennis Dart on the 56 completley full. Were as there is probally a Longer bsu wasting on another route

Diamond bus services dont seem to get the correct allocation of vehicle types needed for the loadings certain service carry, 417 gets centro's whilst the 404E mostly gets solo's or the smaller darts.

There used to be two MPDs allocated at peak times for additional trips in and out of the City.  These would then go onto contract routes where a smaller bus is specified.  These additional vehicles gave a frequency of 15 mins at busy times.

A couple of issues with there page for the changes to their service, they have put 2013 when it should say 2012 and have the 404E from going to West Bromwich to Yew Tree on the renumbering section.

They don't really have a clue do they??

I wonder if diamond will continue its evening services on the 404E or the new 4 service as i know there operating the 4M every 30 minutes on sundays so guess the other 2 buses will be on the 4 to make up the 15 minute frequency it currently has.
