Withdrawn routes

Yeah because black diamond arent really withdrawing many routes-theyve won a couple of tenders, dropped the 59 so theyll probably need a few more buses to replace those that they are selling. Anyone got any thoughts on the prices??

When ive travelled on the 02 reg ones they seem to make odd noises and sound like there going to break down at any minute but internally there very good and some have been refurned recently

They also operate around the hospital as the 59H which NXWM have never done

The 59 route can't be doing that well otherwise it wouldn't be being withdrawn

Last time i saw the diamond 59 it was using solo's also the service doesnt use the bus station which surely must be a disadvantage to get higher loading numbers from Wolverhampton. At the moment tho the solo's get used on any diamond service not matter on how busy the service actually is.

with the sandwell review all diamond would be good for is solos as reading on other posts its just about sown up for NXWM no hope for anyone else so looks like bye bye for diamond they will be ripe for picking up by another company (black diamond/blue diamond) Arriva maybe?

If the cadets do get sold before the emmission regualtions take place what will be used on the 16 when the rule is brought in as solo's and smaller darts surely wont be suitable in terms of capacity for the service unless diamond are getting replacement vehicles if they get sold with the money they will get for them as the 50 has the centros and the 56 the versa's.

Wild stab in the dart but maybe some east lancs esteems from preston as apparently these may be leaving the fleet

I think if the esteems leave preston the reason will be because they have been brought but be good to see them being used with the west midlands on diamond services if stab in the dark becomes reality.

It is just the tendered NXWM are running it as a 935A as per the 56a route and times Tony has told us on another section can't remember where in October

167-168Erdington-Sutton
97         Birmingham-Solihull
37         Birmingham-Solihull
30         Solihull-Accocks Green

Is there any replacements for these services and were will the Signature buses end up off the 30 ??
