Probably to avoid the normal Saturday gridlock.

For some reason the x12 and x13 were diverting via The Green, Castle Bromwich rather than going up Hall Lane this afternoon. There was a set of 4-way temporary lights at the junction of Bradford Road and The Green, causing lots of fun and delays.

Tommorrow Between 7PM and 3AM Pinfold Street is closed between King Edward Street and St Lawrence Way in Darlaston so the 79 is on diversion.

E214 and E224 are currently stuck on Hamstead Road while working the 16 due to a collision not involving the buses.

Correction, they are using Stafford St & Court Way, before Blue Lane West, not Green Lane.

What is Wolverhampton Street Closed for, I've not seen any mention on the local news of it's closure and considering it's one of the main streets to get to Town Centre Parking, Tesco and the Retail Parks I thought it would have been mentioned. I assume access to the Wharf and the Cinema complex is still accessible for people who want to park there.

Due to a Serious Crash in Hill Top the 79 is diverting Black Country New Road and New Swan Lane in both directions.
Just thinking I have a few friends I know who get of the 79 at Bilport Lane to go to work there and a few friends who get off at Hill Top to work in the Industrial Estates around there where will they get off will it be Wednesbury or could they get off in Black Lake, assuming there allowed through the Crime Scene, Looks like a Car has hit  lamppost possibly being chased by Police and then hit another car or will they have to get the 47 and maybe try and get into the back way

Update on the Stratford Road closure and diversions:

The One.Network website is now indicating the full closure is in place until 8th October, and then there will be temporary traffic lights in place until 21st October.

Walked past there this morning on my way to work. Was very pleased to see that the actual works seem to be complete - the holes had all been filled in and the road resurfaced, with missing lines painted on.

So felt very confident that today would be a day for clearing up the site, removing the last of the equipment left there as well as all the fencing, ready for the road to be reopened tomorrow.

However when I walked past again this evening, it was disappointing to see the site looking barely touched, as if no-one had been there at all today.

Still doubting that this will be open again by tomorrow evening...
