Due to a fire by the Fort Retail Park Tyburn Road will be backed up, Parts of Heartlands Parkway are closed and The Fort Parkway is also closed so expect absolute chaos for that part and lots of delayed services. That combined with the A34 being Busy will probably make the Perry Barr and Erdington buses very late

529 service today was not very. The buses seemed to be running two or three at a time. Had two twenty min waits. Where was the problem today.

The m6 was fucked more than usual between 11 and 10 during the day; I had to divert down the a5 to get through.

I would imagine the A34 services that go under the Underpass so the X51 were screwed this morning due to a crash and I would imagine the 16 and 74 are also suffering from delays due to a hit and run on Hockley Hill sending them on a Southbound Diversion

I heard about the Hockley problems on the radio this morning and buses being diverted but never heard anything about the X51.

Quote from: Stu on June 25, 2024, 08:13:26 PMTemporary three-way traffic lights at junction of Kyotts Lake Road causing peak-time delays to all Stratford Road services.

The Severn Trent works at the Erasmus Road junction are expected to continue until next Friday 5th July.

This dragged on longer than expected! Whatever work was being done looked to be finished last week, but its took a further week for someone to come and finish filling in the holes and resurfacing the road.

When I went past this morning, it looked like they were finishing this off so the road could be reopened again.

Sadly this evening, the traffic lights are still in place and now the other side of the road is cordoned off! So goodness knows how long this is going to continue for!

Luckily most motorists are now avoiding this area, so the queues of traffic aren't that long, and delays to bus services seem to be fairly minimal, even with the new holiday timetables in place.

I expect some Delays on the Darlaston Services the Traffic Lights on the St Lawrence Way to Pinfold Street and Pinfold Street to Darlaston Road Junctions have failed so Temporary Traffic Lights are in place at one of the junctions and it is causing an absolute mess. Being right by town all the Traffic from the town is either unable to merge onto Pinfold Street or if they are is blocking Pinfold Street Traffic on the main A4038 Moxley to Walsall Road. This will be delaying the Walsall services more than the 79 although the 79 has been late due to that and roadworks on the A41

Expect the 11/11A around J9 to be late there has been a crash I believe on the Southbound and then on J2-J3 of the M5 there has been an incident so the 4's will be late. Also just come down thr Walsall Road and it is really busy so I expect the Darlo buses to be late to

NX warning of delays due to the M6 and M5 being closed Southbound affecting all the buses that go near to the Motorway or the main ones. And could also affect other services. So if the M6 at J10 is bad that will affect Bentley and Darlaston so the 37, 79, 34 and 39 could be late.

Due to tempirary 4 way signals (off-peak) at the Penn Road/Coalway Road junction, buses on services 2, 15 and 16 are subject to heavy delays.  Also affected is Diamond 64 (Wolves - Penn).
It has just taken my 64 bus 60 mins  to get from Wolves to Penn, a journey which should take 15 minutes

The work is to remove damaged or deseased trees at or near the junction and is expected to continue tomorrow.

Waited 45 mins for a 16 from Kingswinford to Stourbridge around 12ish. The 1210 one didn't run in service but I saw it running empty to Stourbridge about 12:30 to pick up the return route . The 1240 one ironically was on time and got to Stourbridge at 1pm and was probably only then 10 mins behind the other one back to Wolvo which was seen on the Ring Road leaving Stourbridge as we entered it.

After a rather circuitous trip I caught the 16 from Wolvo later in the day at about 4 and things were fine then with no delays anywhere.
