Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on June 02, 2024, 11:10:16 AMI expect some delays on services that use Dartmouth Circus where the A38 meets the M6 as it closed has been all morning. Towards the City it looks like
Aston Expressway is closed due to a 'police incident'. Google Maps indicates a 'road crash'.

Sister waiting in Wednesfield not happy.

Delayed in Amblecote near the Stourbridge Town football ground on the way to Wollaston Farm it would appear.

The 74s were an absolute mess yesterday. 4969 had accumulated delays of over a ridiculous 1 hour and 30 minutes. Usually gets stuck very badly with the road works on Dudley Port, but something in Handsworth also delayed it badly. Honestly baffled why despite drivers insistence they have still not increased the running time

The A41 expressway was closed at the M5 j1 island yesterday so traffic was at a standstill, not really the fault of NX

Yeah I get that yesterday was exceptional but the continuous road works on Dudley Port can delay the 74 substantially and the running times should be temporarily updated to reflect this as drivers have raised. I'm not hating on NX, just criticising their sometimes slow to pull out the finger tendencies

Aren't they also doing Roadworks on Dudley Street near to Guns Village Metro Stop apparently it's Bridge Works. Meaning the 74 has to divert down the Black Country New Road to Great Bridge

Birchfield Road Outbound this evening is grid locked all the way back to Newtown Baths. Yet again there's buses stuck in snail pace traffic on the flyovers and underpasses because they stupidly aren't using the bus lanes. Not seen it this bad here since the Perry Barr roadworks.

Thankfully 6718 i'm on has a driver using his common sense and using the bus priority!
