Can I just ask, what does 'variation' actually mean in comparison to 'registered?

Also, what does 'in part' mean in terms of supported by subsidises. I notice it wasn't before September but now it is.

"Variation" usually means a change to the registered timetable in most cases.

With regards to subsidies, "in part" is just that, either part of the route is subsidised, or some journeys receive a subsidy (early morning, late evening, Sundays etc).
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Sometimes though timetable changes happen but it says registered and not variation.

Yeah I figured that so I'm kinda curious as to whats changed given the fact that it said no before.

Quote from: Ginger66 on November 20, 2022, 11:41:00 AMJust noticed the 40 service as a new timetable from 27/11 main change I've noticed is an additional service at 5:25am from Wednesbury plus change of operator for the 5:45am from Wednesbury,. Hopefully it improves reliability of the service.
I believe the 42/43 will also have a new timetable from 1/1/23

Nothing registered on either operators licence on VOSA or on their websites that I can see, so must be a very late decision.

My mistake, got my dates wrong on 42/43.

X10 route will continue to serve Gornal Wood from 1 Jan 2023 according to VOSA website.

QuoteAs has previously been explained, the registrations show as cancelled as the contracts are up for tender.

Whoever wins the contract will reregister the service.
Hopefully NX retake the 41 as it had good potential.

According to the VOSA website, service 41 has been retained by NX

Kevs have apparently won the 10/10S/38/42 and are merging the 10S/38/42 into one combined route

Apparently Diamond have won the 25 (Dudley) as well (not sure on that though)
