YN13GDY out on the 36 today, haven't seen either for a while, but this one has now gained Silverline logos.

EDO was off the road the begining of the week and the Solos seem to be breaking down the last couple of days - 1 yesterday & 1 today i think.

Also I think S101/7 have now gone for scrap (if thats still where they're heading) - I am told a Silverline solo was being towed followed by another red solo

Yes, I am on about the buses. The repair to the road will apparently take 4 -7 days. Nx are operating a shuttle between the town centre and station.

Poplar road has been closed due to collapsed road. Most/ all services terminating at rail station.

The Stratford Road is chaos at the best of times, but this week just took the biscuit!

First of all you've got the 'junction improvement' works going on at the Highgate Road junction in Sparkbrook, which has seen all the southbound out-of city Stoney Lane stops removed and cordoned off, and part of the carriageway closed.

Then of course there's this new bleeding supermarket in Sparkhill. Why can't people catch the bus to go to the supermarket, instead of driving their cars, as Sparkhill has next to no off street parking as it is!

Finally on Thursday, I suppose the police incident at South Birmingham college in Hall Green didn't help things either.

Add to that an incident on/near? Widney Lane, which would have further delayed the 6.

That affected the 5, the 6 does not go near Widney Lane.

I think it was the Marshall Lake Road end - Diamond posted on their facebook to expect delays to the S4/15 and the S9 was running about half hour late.

Look out for a Metrobus, probably 313, around Maypole-Redditch area tomorrow ;)

Going back to what you told me earlier do you know what changes are being made to the 50A

Is it a well used route to redditch? Could they be increasing the frequency (What is the current frequency of the 50A?)

Not sure if this was answered before, but the new 50/50A timetable came into force from the 17th June. Basically the 50 has been increased to every 10 minutes, and I have seen Darts being used on it in the week as part of the increased number of the vehicles now required.

The 50A though is now reduced to just 1 journey in each direction. 50A TT link is:http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/chym/FileHandlers/BusServiceTimetable.pdf?ID=1607

People dont seem to be happy with the reduced 50A, from what I heard on the S3 in Wythall. Also there were people in Birmingham waiting for it yesterday so obviously people dont know about the changes - i didnt until yesterday!

Typical, on the S3! It was good when a Citaro was on the S2 daily a few months ago. The Solo SR I rode twice today sounded terrible; it's making a humming / whining noise at low speeds.

BF60OFA was on the S2/4 last week due to a breakdown

So what has happened to the other 2 Citaros I wonder?

BN09FWS has been off the road for ages, BF60OFA was on the 82/88 Monday i think, so I'm not sure about that one

BN09FWS is back on the road, seen on the S3. Although it hasn't had its blinds updated

At the moment the S2, S3, S4 and 88 are using the Hybrid Versas along with the 10 reg Optare Solo SRs. The 82 I think is still fortunately the Citaros. Basically there hasn't been much change except there's more Hybrids now than last week.

Some of the 82 and 88 journeys interchange at Solihull station, so surely both these routes use the same buses?

Today, and yesterday, on the 82/88 there was one Citaro, one standard Versa and one SR. The S3 seems to be fully hybrid, with the S2/4 hybrid and SRs.

On the 36, saw a Streetlite this morning in Sparkbrook, and YJ56APK in Acocks Green this evening (showing just '10' on the rear blind)!

The new enviro was on there this evening,  thought it was a short wheelbase but it seems to be the same length as the others (one of which was on the S10 this evening).
The '10' was on APK on Saturday, on the S10. I think it had 36 on and the Driver just changed the numbers.
