2 or 3 new enviros on the 45/46 (WB) today.

nearly weren't on the road this morning. they were booked out to be on the road but missing a couple of things:
1. no wheel nut indicators (yellow or red on wheels) and, most importantly.........
2. no tax disc.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I guess the 3 used haven't been used at BC previously then, Have you driven one today WB driver or was on your usual 5 service with presidents and mercs.

on my usual 5 to sutton. 4087 in the morning, took 4114 back to garage with defective platform, replacede with 4509. quality bus. but i have drove one of the enviros, just not in service, drove round the bus station a couple of sundays ago when being type trained on it.
an empty bus is a happy driver.

Tony

Four were out, 819, 820, 821 & 822, photos of all four on the main site soon

I got on 4087 last week on the 5 must say this president seemed quite quick especially along the Newton Road seem to get up to speed very quickly.

Wheel nut indicators are not a legal requirement not in VOSA rules just helps for visual check of wheel security.  The tax disc on the otherhand whoops hope the o licence was on.

With 4 of the enviro200's now in service any does anybody have any idea what buses in particular have been transferred or withdrawn out of service, all the alx200 seem to be still at WB as quite a few were parked outside the garage where they normally are parked and 3610 was on the 47 today.

Ash,

But have you noticed that the new Enviros are operating the 45 & 46 rather than the 46 & 47 as originally thought

Yeah, surprised me but didn't know if this was a one off that they were being used on the 45 and when there all put into service they will move onto the 46/47/47A. The 45 is normally a busier service than the 46/47/47A and in terms of capacity the mercs are ideal for the service as often at peak times double deckers appear on the 45.

If I were NXWM I'd complain about 826, obviously been delivered with faulty destination equipment, seen today in the same state as Tony's picture

That must be the one I saw yesterday. The one side of the display kept flickering on and off.

Would that not be an issue with the blind manufactuer (possibly hanover) not alexander dennis.

Yes I never mentioned ADL, but what I meant was the bus was obviously delivered with the fault

The rear LED display on 823 isn't working, saw it in Dudley the other day

I noted one Enviro 200 on the 45, yesterday with at least three on it today. I had the pleasure of catching 820 for my morning commute today and I have to say I was very impressed, although anything is better than those B6's!

I do hope they're permanent on the 405 but we'll see, sometimes the extra-capacity of the O405N's are required.

Stuharris 6360

think it was mentioned on here that two of the PE Enviro 200s will be unbranded.

I know 823 is one, which is the other please, if there is one?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
