I do like it, brings a much needed bit of consistency with the X96 branding as they both serve Merry Hill and I think that is what is needed across the network, not just a random allocation of colours here there and everywhere. Only slight criticism I'd spell Brierley Hill correctly if it was me, don't want to upset the locals!

Lol thanks for pointing out the spelling mistake and yeah some locals i'm sure would complain about it.

Another 4 must have arrived today then, as when i was at the garage at 12.30, there were only 4 there!

823 was also missing, presumably on driver familiarisation somewhere!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

823 is probably around and about Merry Hill as it has been for the past week or so.

I may have mis calculated as 3 arrived in convoy today so it may be 8

Perfect replacement for a B6 then :p

Amazingly over the years, have rode plenty of B6's and only ever had one problem, and that was one running out of fuel on Pedmore Fields on the early days of the 247/8!!!

On the subject of B6's i was on 562 one day and the bus got to Darlaston and a car pulled along side it and told the driver his fuel tank was split. As the carw was following it all the way from Walsall.

Didn't take long at all, gurantee these won't be going in 15 years time like (some) of the B6's,

I think most buses have teething problems when they first enter the service, the omnilinks had their fair share of issues when they first entered service i.e doors not closing properly so the brakes were permanently applied they even had to be taken off the 404 for the day as their were issues with them in Bradford Place. Hopefully once they have been running in service for a couple of months reliability should increase and issues sorted. Even at the beginning of this week a branded 51 enviro 400 broke down in Walsall and is still a fairly new bus.

Yeah there was a metro on the 127/128,80 and 449 that day and the 404 had an omnilink from PB (1837) and anything else left in the garage including loads of merc/b6le's and alx400 and presidents.
