I ment in the west midlands, forgot about the hotel hoppas

The more recent ones are on a contract for the BBC in Central London so they will have been on stop/start runs, so a good test for the West Midlands

I could cherry pick all my favourite B6LE's (yes  a little sentimental moment) but in a nutshell, BC have got the best last few in my opinion

My favs were 528 and 501; also 537 had a excellent engine. Going to miss them really; just a shame they aren't in a better condition inside and externally, with a similar drive line to what the ZF Liberators have.

but as has already been said, why buy a single decker which hasnt been trialed, NX cant of liked the 300 otherwise an order would of been placed, like with the small number of omnicity DDs, anyone know where the old 300 is now oporator wise.

Hasn't been trialled?
NX have had 32 of them in use for the last 4 years, I think they know what they are capable of. Another 5 have also been added to the fleet in the last year so they also known the current spec

Do you know the reg for the last 5, Tony?

Is there any news of the 30 vehicle midi bus order?
Are any of these required for the new Sandwell network to increase the PVR?

I dont think anything is confirmed but I'm still backing the Enviro 200, it would just make more sense in my eyes.

Yes it has been confirmed as Enviro 200 s

Best be better than the ones Arriva have got at Hill Top, those MX12's have to be some of the most uncomfortable buses I have ever been on with such a noisy engine along with a really cheap interior wouldn't last 5 minutes on the 222, would have preferred the Street lite's but not to worry, obviously didn't think much of the demonstrator they trialled a while back.

Hmmm to what leanth will the enviros be, and when can we expect to see them trundling around the streets :)
Danny :) proud swift, mango and oyster user...

My locals 12, 12A, 13, 22, 126, and the sixes every weekend :)

Good to hear it is the Enviro 200s. The Stagecoach ones are excellent although it will be a shame that'll they will be in NX Red. What I don't get is why most of the Enviros now have this light design, http://wmbusphotos.com/Arriva/2140.html, but Stagecoach and some of the First ones still seem to be getting the light design without the concave line in it (prefer this)

I assume Nat Ex may go for the concave design as the 400 series has that at NX on later versions, although I hope LEDs are fitted in it as Arriva did.
