Went round to the garage today and there seemed to be far more buses parked up than usual, at least 5 B7's, 2 or 3 Tridents and about 10-15 Mercs, is this due to a slightly reduced PVR over Christmas or is the overall fleet allocation just higher atm
It was Saturday timetables today which probably explains why and gives reason to why the 276 was almost all DD with Tridents and Enviros except 1 or 2 Mercs for example. This will be the case all the way until the 2nd of Jan at least.

Winston will be able to answer this more accurately than me, but I think we have gained more Tridents & B7RLEs than we have lost B6LEs and Mercs, so it probably is a higher allocation

At the moment PE's allocation stands at 120 with 4352 arriving from YW, typically PE's allocation has been around 116 of late, and no further withdrawals have been reported to date with 1628 being the last,

Strangely, when i saw the 297 yesterday, both buses i saw were showing 297A which is normal for a Saturday timetable. However saw 2 297s today and they are just displaying 297?

4352 on the 276 today.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Yes, I saw a B7 displaying 297 to Stickley, but have also seen a 297A

4800 did the 9pm 244 trip tonight, a nice surprise for me.

Also, I've been told there was a fire on the Hagley Road in Bearwood this evening, causing buses to be diverted through Bearwood high street

At least it's unlikely to be another Pensnett Merc  ;)

It was a building fire I believe. If it had been a bus fire I would've expected it to be a President on the Circle!

Fire was on the Hagley Road, so wouldn't have been the Outer Circle if it was a bus.... a Merc however...
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

The 276 and X96 are both fully double decker today I think.

The 243/244 seems to be fully Mercs for some reason too, unless someone can correct me with the third bus as I've only seen 1543 and 1629.

A B7RLE was also on the 276 today so not fully dd operated :) I saw 3 buses on the 276 today (4135,4350,4352) but a B7RLE has been reported on here
