4352 on 246 today.  Seen at 0935 in Brierley Hill heading towards Stourbridge.

4346 replaced defective 4195 on the 246 with 1657 also parked up awaiting a replacement

1657 was on the X96 tonight.

4195 was also back on the 246 this evening, first time I've seen it in ages

4197 also lasted from 07:40 to 23:45 on the 9 before being replaced by 4809 for its last trip. I can't imagine it would've had much fuel left...

Do the Tridents have smaller fuel tanks than the Enviros?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I'm not sure about fuel tank size Stu, but they are very thirsty buses and would run out of fuel before an Enviro.

Trident 4609

4193 was on the 276 today on a board that goes onto an evening 244

4193 was on 276/06, did the 9pm 244 from Dudley, then was replaced by 4349 after the Hasbury loop in Halesowen due to an ABS fault. First BX02 Trident to sneak onto the 244 I believe.

4349 was also on the 276 earlier, on a different board, alongside 4353 and 4813. 4808 was on the X96 in severe limp mode, struggling to make the climbs out of Merry Hill.

4805 made it onto the 120 too, the 22:13 from Dudley.

4193 and an Enviro400 are on the 276 today. I have seen no single deckers yet.

The 246 buses are 4135, 4349, 4350 and 4353.

2102 is on 276 somewhere

followed 1642 on the 244 this morning, its not sounding very good at the moment, was coughing & spluttering badly.

It's a bit of a rust bucket as well, particularly the skirt panels

4800 did the 9pm 244 trip tonight, a nice surprise for me.

Also, I've been told there was a fire on the Hagley Road in Bearwood this evening, causing buses to be diverted through Bearwood high street

At least it's unlikely to be another Pensnett Merc  ;)

It was a building fire I believe. If it had been a bus fire I would've expected it to be a President on the Circle!

The AG Presidents still have a bit of catching up with PE's self-combusting Mercs

Went round to the garage today and there seemed to be far more buses parked up than usual, at least 5 B7's, 2 or 3 Tridents and about 10-15 Mercs, is this due to a slightly reduced PVR over Christmas or is the overall fleet allocation just higher atm

Winston will be able to answer this more accurately than me, but I think we have gained more Tridents & B7RLEs than we have lost B6LEs and Mercs, so it probably is a higher allocation
